A Unique Resort for Divers,
Snorkelers & Nature Lovers
(South Komodo)
German Flag Also known as Toro Bendera, it is located in the extreme south of the island of Komodo. During the summer months it is difficult to reach due to the adverse marine conditions.
Given the position and the great presence of plankton during particular periods of the year, it turns out to be a perfect perfect for sighting manta rays, both on the surface and during the dive. Once you enter the water near the coast, the dive site starts at a depth of 5m, as the reef follows perfectly the coastline. Generally, the dive is carried out by being transported by the slight current, which will accompany us along a backdrop mostly composed of large rocks and boulders. The structure of the seabed is a perfect hiding place for numerous species of fish (snappers, sweetlips, groupers). Unmissable meetings with turtles, surgeon fish and small creatures scattered along the reef. Without a doubt, given the possibility of making it to a reduced depth, it is a perfect site for a repeated dive.
